An update has emerged about Santos Escobar, who has been absent since being re-signed after his WWE contract expired last October.
Santos Escobar notably parted ways with the company, with his profile moved to the WWE Alumni section on the official website.
Shortly after his departure, it was reported that Escobar had signed a new deal, however he has yet to make a return to screens.
An update has now emerged on the status of Escobar in WWE, thanks to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
According to Dave Meltzer, Escobar’s absence is “described as something that fell through the cracks but they were talking about getting it back on track.”
Escobar was last in action at the WWE SuperShow Mexico on July 27, teaming with Angel and Berto in a loss to Mr Iguana, Pagano & Psycho Clown.
In Escobar’s absence, Angel and Berto have continued to compete as Los Garza and were recently in action on the WWE Live Holiday Tour.
We will continue to provide updates on Santos Escobar’s status as they become available.
