WWE Legend Announced For Saturday Night’s Main Event Special

A notable WWE legend has been announced for the Saturday Night’s Main Event special, set for December 14.

Following the original announcement on the Bill Simmons Podcast, WWE has now confirmed that Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura will return to the announcer’s table for the upcoming special.

WWE took to Twitter to share the following announcement:

BREAKING: Jesse Ventura makes his return to the broadcast announce table for Saturday Night’s Main Event on Dec. 14, LIVE at 8/7c on @nbc, as first revealed on The @BillSimmons Podcast!

Dave Meltzer reported back in October that WWE had plans for Jesse Ventura at the show.

Jesse Ventura was “welcomed home” on the July 29 edition of Raw, during his first WWE appearance in over a decade.

Ventura previously confirmed that he has signed a WWE Legends deal.

Several big matches have been confirmed for Saturday Night’s Main Event, with Cody Rhodes set to defend his WWE Title against Kevin Owens, and GUNTHER to put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Finn Balor.
