Tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC has already seen surprise legendary appearances with likely even more surprises yet to come.
UPDATE – Also shown in the crowd tonight: Alundra Blayze, Mark Henry, Dory Funk Jr, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard.
At tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, there were legends, surprises and more as professional wrestling returned to NBC for the second time in the space of just over a month.
The first surprise of the night came before any of the matches as 2010 Hall of Fame inductee, the ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase made an appearance backstage.
Shown arriving in a hilariously vintage limousine, the three-time WWE Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase proudly carried his own Million Dollar Championship into the arena.
Also making an appearance, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura returned to the stage alongside Joe Tessitore to make introductions for the night and give his expert analysis.
Ventura was confirmed to be on the commentary team later in the night for the Intercontinental Championship match featuring Sheamus challenging Bron Breakker.
We also know Shawn Michaels will moderate the contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens in Michaels’ hometown of San Antonio tonight.
