WWE seemingly scrapped plans for a special entrance for Drew McIntyre on WrestleMania 38 Saturday.
During last night’s show, McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin in singles action.
Mark J Wilson of the group ‘Kilted Warriors’ has shared photos of the group backstage at the AT&T Stadium.
Wilson captioned the pics:
“Kilted Warriors for @dmcintyrewwe that got canceled”
Metal performer Sean Stark shared a video from the arena on Twitter, noting that his WrestleMania entrance was cancelled. When a fan questioned his phrasing, Stark noted:
“We were goin to be apart of Drew McIntyre’s entrance but they couldn’t plan it in enough time. So they had to scrap it.”
It is unclear why this special entrance was cancelled, but it has been speculated that it could’ve been because Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair had special walkouts not long after McIntyre’s bout.
