WWE’s Karrion Kross has revealed scrapped plans for a match that would have seen him support a charity in a very personal way.
Kross was recently announced to be facing Alexander Hammerstone at the FSW Beynefit for Bey show in support of the injured TNA Wrestling star Chris Bey.
During a recent episode of The DeFalco Files Podcast, the subject of a match stipulation for the March 23 match was brought up.
Asked whether he would shave his head for the Beynefit show match, Kross joked that Triple H may have an aggressive reaction, saying:
“Hunter would Pedigree me on the stairs if I came back to work with my hair missing.”
Kross went on to reveal that in December 2024 there were tentative plans for him to shave his hair for a WWE storyline.
The WWE star noted that he was interested in donating it to a charity that he was working with at the time.
Opening up about the pitch which didn’t end up happening, Kross said:
“I’ll give you guys the inside scoop on something. So, in December, a charity I was working with, I was interested actually in donating my hair.
“These kids are sick and they suffer from hair loss and I was gonna donate my hair. There was an idea to do that, but maybe make a story out of it on television, and so, we didn’t get to doing the story. But, I don’t have any sort of piece of vanity hidden to keep my hair and keep it growing it.
“I was literally doing it for the function of growing it as long as possible to give it away to these kids. However, I gotta time things properly.
“I made a generous donation in the meantime so they didn’t feel like I just dipped on ‘em. But, yeah, there’s no f’ing way I’m gonna be shaving my head at the (FSW Beynefit) show.”
The former WWE NXT Champion would note that he is involved in a lot of charity work that he doesn’t talk about as he isn’t seeking praise, saying it’s part of his family’s culture.
Chris Bey suffered a neck injury in October 2024 and shared an update on his recovery in February 2025.
During the interview with Joe DeFalco, Kross revealed that he suffered a panic attack about an airplane when he heard the news of the injury.
