WWE Star Teases A Championship Match Against Former Stablemate WWE

A huge WWE name has teased a championship match against a former stablemate.

WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins has been a part of several factions before his singles run.

One of those factions was The Authority, which Seth Rollins famously betrayed The Shield to join.

Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury served as security guards to Seth Rollins and were known as J&J Security.

Jamie Noble recently confirmed via his Instagram that he would compete in his final match on December 11, 2022.

Seth Rollins took note of the announcement and responded to ask if Noble would challenge him for the WWE US Championship, saying simply:

“US Championship Open Challenge?”

Noble has not taken the bait as of yet.

Seth Rollins won the US Championship during the October 10 edition of Raw, when he defeated Bobby Lashley.

This is Rollins’ second reign with the title.

Since the win, The Architect has defended it successfully against Matt Riddle, and Austin Theory, who tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract during the November 7 edition of Raw.

Jamie Noble is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and Ring of Honor World Champion.

Noble’s last match for WWE was in June 2015 during an episode of Raw where he and Joey Mercury defeated Seth Rollins in a handicap tag match.

Recently, a WWE name predicted that Seth Rollins would be the company’s next ‘megastar.’ You can read more on this story right here.
