WWE Star Has Legitimate Heat With Hall Of Famer WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has recently spoken about the issues he has with a current WWE star following a 2019 dispute.

Having previously confirmed that he owns to trademark to the term ‘To Be The Man’, Ric Flair had been critical of WWE’s choice to refer to Becky Lynch as ‘The Man’.

The issues aren’t over, however, with Flair talking on Sirius XM’s Busted Open podcast (subscription required) about an issue between himself and a WWE star.

Flair spoke about Seth Rollins, husband to Becky Lynch, saying:

“Seth Rollins is a damn good worker.

“He’s mad at me because I’ve been up and down with his wife, but I don’t care.

“He’s good, but he ain’t me. I’ve got no problem saying that.

“He walked right by at an autograph session, and I thought, ‘You gotta be kidding me, because of you and Becky and this ‘Man’ trademark, you’re gonna ignore me, pal? Wow.”

The interaction (or lack thereof) between Flair and Rollins didn’t pass without comment from Flair at the session.

Flair explained:

“I looked over at The Undertaker and I said, ‘I guess I’m in a timeout.'”

Flair would take a more pragmatic look at the interaction, stating:

“Everybody should take their wife’s side in any debate there is.

“You’re gonna take their side and I understand that as long as it’s come and gone, but that was a sensitive point for me.”

He would, however, point out that he’s not angry at Rollins, praising his work with Cody Rhodes and referring to the bouts as “two of the best matches of the year.”
