WWE ‘Shared Reality’ Partnership Update

WWE ‘Shared Reality’ Partnership Update WWE

A new report has revealed an update on the new WWE multi-year partnership with Cosm for “shared reality” sites.

On January 9, WWE announced a multi-year partnership with Cosm to present Premium Live Events at venues in Los Angeles and Dallas, which you can read here.

The announcement revealed that WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble are coming to the Cosm Shared Reality sites starting in 2025.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that WWE’s first event with Cosm is already a big success. The report reads:

“The immersive shared reality space in Dallas has sold out of Royal Rumble tickets inside The Dome for the first event planned for the partnership.”

“WWE leadership is currently working with Cosm to open up the GA seating in The Hall — which is just outside of The Dome – where WWE talent will also join fans to watch Royal Rumble.”

According to the Cosm website, their venues benefit from “wall-to-wall LED displays that feature a multi-viewing sports experience.”

Whereas headset based virtual reality is an isolated experience for the user, shared reality allows for “that feature a multi-viewing sports experience”

The next WWE premium live event will be the Royal Rumble 2025, which takes place on Saturday, February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
