Following this week’s episode of SmackDown on FOX, WWE has shared some rather amusing and frankly ridiculous injury updates for two of its roster members that were involved with the show on Friday.
Otis was brutally attacked by Jey Uso this week, and WWE has announced that the former Mr. Money in the Bank has suffered a kayfabe injury in the most ridiculous of fashions:
“[Evaluations showed] multiple areas of contusions and tenderness of the muscles throughout the thoracic spine region. Examination of the bony regions of the thoracic spine and ribs did not reveal any abnormalities.”
As if that wasn’t enough, WWE has also announced that Jey Uso was evaluated after Friday night’s show and has suffered an injury after basically hitting Otis and Kevin Owens with too many chair shots:
‘[Evaluations showed] bilateral upper extremity weakness as a result of stretching of the lower cervical nerve roots from the chair strikes. The belief is that this weakness is temporary and should resolve over the next few days.”
It’s important to stress that these injuries are almost certainly kayfabe injuries and both men are not believed to be legitimately injured coming out of this week’s post-Survivor Series episode of SmackDown.
