WWE Raw Star Addresses Sharing Finisher With SmackDown Star WWE

A WWE Raw star has revealed that they’ve had a conversation with a SmackDown star who uses a similar finisher to them.

Roxanne Perez has been using a modified sunset flip powerbomb as her WWE finisher since her NXT days, notably winning the NXT Women’s Championship twice with that maneuver ahead of her main roster call-up.

Elsewhere on the roster, Zelina Vega has established the Code Red as her finisher, with her cousin Amazing Red widely credited for naming and popularising this sunset flip powerbomb variation.

With both stars having similar signature moves, Roxanne Perez has revealed an agreement she and Vega have “kind of” talked about.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Perez noted that she won’t use the Pop Rox on SmackDown if Vega is in action that night.

Believing Vega will pay her the same courtesy if she competes on Raw, Perez said:

“We’ve kind of talked about it, and it’s kind of okay. Let’s say if I’m on SmackDown, I won’t use it if she’s gonna use it.

“If she’s on Raw, she probably won’t use it if I’m gonna use it.”

Perez’ first WWE main roster championship reign recently came to an end, with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defeating her and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam.

Perez officially replaced Liv Morgan as one half of the tag-team champions in June, following Morgan suffering a shoulder injury.
