WWE’s Shawn Michaels has named the main roster tag team that “people sincerely consider” to be the best in the industry.
Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Creative, Shawn Michaels, made the statement during a recent appearance on the Stay Busy with Armon Sadler podcast.
With Sadler noting that some people consider WWE SmackDown’s Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) the best tag-team working today, Shawn Michaels agreed with the sentiment, saying:
“I 100% agree with the people who say that.
“Right now, they’re clicking on all cylinders.
“Once they committed to being a team, they took it to another level.
“People sincerely consider them the best tag team in the industry — and that’s amazing praise for two guys in their mid-20s.”
Nathan Frazer and Axiom first became a tag team for the Dusty Rhodes Classic in 2024 on NXT, reaching the semi-finals of the tournament.
Prior to that, the pair had been regularly featured on WWE NXT UK, with Axiom then known as A-Kid and Frazer being Ben Carter.
Their team-up saw them shift from NXT, where they were two-time Tag Team Champions, to the main roster in April 2025.
Now fixtures on SmackDown, Frazer has recently commented about a “special night” featuring the Motor City Machine Guns.
