Footage has emerged of WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels twerking with popular rapper Sexyy Red backstage at NXT.
Sexyy Red was the host of the June 9 NXT Battleground with it also being reported that she had entered into a ‘partnership‘ with WWE.
Previously, footage had emerged of Red and Shawn Michaels duetting his WWE entrance theme.
Triple H had shared the footage with a comment that would foreshadow the future, stating:
“Let’s all be glad he didn’t start twerking.”
And, twerking is exactly what the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative would do in a newly emerged video.
As can be seen in the short video below this news story, Sexyy Red and Shawn Michaels busted some shapes.
Twerking is something that NXT’s Arianna Grace doesn’t appreciate, however,
She shared her ‘disgust’ at ‘all the twerking’ that has been seen in WWE NXT recently.
With Red being described as ‘easy to work with’ backstage, it has been revealed that she will ‘make further appearance‘ after NXT Battleground.
Per the report, Sexyy Red’s presence in NXT was compared to that of the singer Poppy, who worked in partnership with WWE between 2019 and 2021.
