WWE Star Asks Shinsuke Nakamura To Be In His Corner At Jiu Jitsu Competition WWE

A WWE star has asked Shinsuke Nakamura to be in his corner for an upcoming jiu jitsu tournament, following Shinsuke Nakamura’s recent announcement.

The Japanese star recently took to Instagram to reveal that he will be in the corner of Road to UFC Season 2 flyweight winner Rei Tsuruya at Saturday’s (June 29) UFC 303 event.

Tsuruya will face off against Carlos Hernandez on the early preliminary card.

Many people congratulated Nakamura on Instagram, including Baron Corbin, who wants Nakamura in his corner too.

Baron Corbin commented:

Heck yeah. Come corner me in Orlando at ibjjf

The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) will next hold an event in Orlando on July 26, with there being the possibility of matches being scheduled on July 24 and 25 if enough athletes participate.

Corbin has competed in several Jiu Jitsu World League tournaments, notably winning gold in the Finals Florida Gi competition in December 2023, and taking the silver medal in the Florida Vi Gi in February.

Baron Corbin was recently moved back to the main roster, selected by SmackDown in May’s WWE Draft.

He recently revealed the real reason for his WWE TV absence, which you can read more about right here.
