It’s being reported that SmackDown star Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been off WWE TV for months, could be set to return soon.
Nakamura hasn’t even wrestled for WWE at all since January, and hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since way back in November when he lost to Santos Escobar in the World Cup tournament.
There’s been no explanation to date for Nakamura’s absence, and the last time he was really in any kind of spotlight was when he wrestled Hall of Famer the Great Muta for NOAH on January 1.
Nakamura was in attendance for the Hall of Fame this past weekend, and looks to be nearing a return.
As reported by PWInsider Elite (via Cageside Seats) Nakamura is expected to be back on the road soon.
There was no indication of specific plans other than he’s expected to be back on the SmackDown brand.
Rick Boogs, Nakamura’s former tag team partner, was recently moved to the Raw brand upon his own return from injury, so it looks like that team is a thing of the past.
