When I look at skateboard wielding, super smiley Cora Jade, my first reaction is not “oh she’s clearly a heel”, but apparently I may have to change this reaction quite soon.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is considering having Cora Jade turn heel on current tag partner Roxanne Perez.
Dave Meltzer wrote:
“Among the things talked about in NXT, whether they happen or not remains to be seen, are Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley as a tag team (actually there have been slight teases on televison a few weeks back but not the last week or two) and having Cora Jade go heel on Roxanne Perez.”
Perez and Jade are the current number one contenders for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, currently held by Toxic Attraction, with a match for the titles set to take place next week on NXT’s Great American Bash special.
Perhaps Jade and Perez lose the match, and this leads to Jade turning on her partner?
