
WWE has signed more than a dozen athletes from their WrestleMania 38 tryouts in Dallas earlier this year.
WWE ran their traditional tryouts ahead of WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas, Texas with current or recently graduated athletes.
According to the Dallas Morning News, more than a dozen athletes were signed by the promotion coming out of the tryouts.
Signees include 2020 national champion in acrobatics and tumbling from Baylor, Lexie Amrhein, former Texas Tech defensive end Houston Miller, former American Olympian in wrestling Tracy Hancock, and ex-Bellator fighter Valerie Loureda.
The company says that “several others” are in “different points in the process” to start and the total is “more than 20”.
WWE is currently holding another set of tryouts for college athletes during SummerSlam week in Nashville, Tennessee with EVP of Talent Relations Triple H, Big E and Paul Heyman all in attendance.
