New WWE Signing’s Debut Opponent Revealed?

An update has emerged on Giulia’s WWE in-ring debut, with the new signing’s first WWE opponent potentially revealed.

The Former STARDOM star Giulia is expected to report to the Performance Center after working with Rossy Ogawa to set up his new company, Marigold.

With it previously reported that she will likely make her WWE debut at the July 7 NXT Heatwave event, there has been some speculation about her future with Marigold, with the promotion announcing the Summer Destiny event for July 13.

Per Corey Brennan of Fightful, WWE is still targeting Heatwave for Giulia’s NXT debut, with Roxanne Perez as her opponent.

Brennan addressed the speculation on Twitter, writing:

At this stage, all I know is WWE are targeting Heatwave w/ Roxanne as her NXT debut.

Roxanne Perez currently holds the NXT Women’s Championship, which she won from current Raw star Lyra Valkyria at April’s Stand & Deliver premium live event.

She most recently defended her gold on TV during the May 7 NXT episode, against SmackDown’s Chelsea Green.

Giulia was in action at Marigold’s debut show “Fields Forever” on Monday (May 20), teaming with Utami Hayashishita in a losing effort against Bozilla and former NXT star Sareee (Sarray).
