Another member of the Bloodline WWE family has reportedly signed with the company, but is currently out of action with an injury.
WWE’s Bloodline story has seen a number of new members added this year alone, with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu all joining the group since WrestleMania 40, and Hikuleo also signing with the company over the Summer.
However, there are still a number of Bloodline family members in the wrestling industry, and another has reportedly signed with the company, though it may still be a while before he appears on screen.
Last year, it was reported by Fightful Select that Lance Anoa’i was granted his release from MLW and was a free agent.
Given his family ties, many had speculated that Lance’s next move following his free agency would be WWE, and that is now seemingly the case.
Today, a photo of Lance Anoa’i in an NXT outfit alongside other WWE Performance Center talent was shared online by referee Felix Fernandez, which led to a lot of speculation about his status with the company.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), those in the company that spoke to Fightful confirmed that Anoa’i signed with the company this Summer, but he is suddenly sidelined with an injury.
Lance is not imminently factored into creative plans for either NXT or the main roster, and likely won’t be cleared for a while.
