WWE Star Set For ‘Sustained Singles Push’

Backstage news has emerged on a WWE star who is reportedly expected to receive a singles push heading into the new year.

With Finn Balor playing a key role in the Judgment Day faction, the Irish star has been prominently featured in a top Monday Night Raw storyline.

Ahead of Balor’s upcoming world title match, reports have indicated that Balor will be booked strongly in the coming months.

Per WrestleVotes on Twitter, sources have stated that Balor has secured his position as a locker room leader over the course of the past year.

Noting that a push in the singles division is expected for the former Universal Champion, WrestleVotes wrote:

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so.

In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.

Balor – who currently holds the WWE World Tag Team Championship alongside JD McDonagh – will challenge for GUNTHER’s World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.

Finn Balor’s only world championship reign lasted just a day, with Balor defeating Seth Rollins to become the inaugural Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016, before having to relinquish the title due to injury.
