A WWE star has shown off a graphic injury following their match on the May 16 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
This episode saw Tiffany Stratton defend her WWE Women’s Championship against former champion Nia Jax.
Stratton was ultimately victorious, hitting Jax with her Prettiest Moonsault Ever after 14 minutes of action.
Moments before hitting this moonsault, Stratton hit a dropkick on a chair Nia Jax was holding, sending it into her face and causing her to start bleeding.
Following fans voicing concern for Jax, the title challenger has now taken to Instagram to share photos of her bloody face and her cut.
Jax captioned these backstage photos:
Nobody makes me bleed my own blood

While several WWE stars responded in the comments section, Tiffany Stratton sent one of the less sympathetic messages, writing:
I did🤪
The moment Jax suffered the injury can be seen in the video below.
Stratton notably won the WWE Women’s Championship from Nia Jax on the January 3 SmackDown episode, cashing in her Money in the Bank contract.
The May 16 SmackDown episode also featured qualifying matches for this year’s Money in the Bank matches, with Alexa Bliss and Solo Sikoa earning spots in their respective ladder bouts.
