Update On WWE Star’s Injury Ahead Of December 2 SmackDown

There has been an update on the injury to Raquel Rodriguez ahead of tonight’s (December 2) episode of SmackDown.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler attacked both Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez in the backstage area.

After the attack, Ronda and Shayna attacked Raquel’s arm while it was trapped in a crate backstage, injuring her arm.

Raquel made her way back out for the tag team match alongside Shotzi against Ronda and Shayna later in the night, but was diagnosed with a broken elbow.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Raquel is set to still be selling her arm injury on tonight’s show, including an arm brace.

Fightful also notes that the injury is purely a storyline injury.

At Survivor Series, Rousey retained her championship in against Shotzi.

She is reportedly set for a championship clash with Raquel Rodriguez at the Royal Rumble event.
