Hello everyone and welcome to our live spoiler coverage of SmackDown Live, which tonight comes to us from the 02 Arena in sunny London.
Tonight we’re getting a very tasty looking fatal-4-way between Andrade, Finn Balor, Randy Orton and Ali ahead of Sunday’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Also on the show is the Kevin Owens Show, and a tag match between Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville and Asuka & Kairi Sane.
- Not a good start for SmackDown then, as it’s being reported that the entire upper deck of seating has been taped off due to lack of ticket sales…

As sadly seems to be the way, much smaller crowd at the O2 tonight. Upper deck was two thirds full last night but is completely taped off tonight. Facilities much quiet in general.

Smaller crowd can sometimes make for a better atmosphere? Let’s hope. pic.twitter.com/Hb8OvBw6rf

- Looks like Roman is opening the show tonight after his tag match with the Miz last night went to a DQ. Will he have words for Shane McMahon tonight?
- Roman initially booed but apparently “Let’s Go Roman!” chants quickly drowned those out. As we said last night, booing Roman is a bit boring now.
- Shane McMahon comes out and BANS The Miz from the arena and subsequently from ringside tonight. Can’t wait to see the Miz later then…
- Out come Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out and start attacking Roman! Then the Usos, who Bryan and Rowan beat for the tag titles last week come out for the save!

And now Bryan and Rowan are out here! The foursome swiftly attack…
…..here come the USOS!! The action is off to a flyer on Smackdown! Bodies everywhere! pic.twitter.com/DtfQ1TaRBH

- Up next is the very tasty looking fatal-4-way between Ali, Finn Balor, Randy Orton and Andrade
- Shane makes a match for later in the evening following the opening segment. It’ll be Bobby Lashley, Elias, Rowan and Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns and the Usos. This is a much better version of the Usos than what we’re seeing on Raw.
- Randy takes charge early on, drilling all three opponents into the announcer’s table.
- Andrade has a ladder. I’m sure he just needs it for some home improvements.
- Ali, who it turns out has no concern for his own safety, does an insane splash onto Andrade while he was holding a ladder. Ouch.
- Andrade WINS! He gets Finn Balor in a small package and gets the pinfall. Does that give him any momentum going into Money in the Bank on Sunday.
Finn. Orton. Ali. Andrade. One hell of a match on #SDLive “This is awesome!” #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/WmD1OaIBRT

- Ricochet charges out to stop Andrade unclipping the briefcase! Kofi is then seen backstage telling Xavier Woods to let him face the Kevin Owens show alone…
- Out comes Charlotte Flair to say mean things about Becky Lynch ahead of their match on Sunday.
- We get a long old video package about the history of the Becky/Charlotte rivalry from their days in NXT right through to the main roster.
- Time for our 4 on 3 handicap match…will Roman and the Usos upset the odds and come out on top? Probably.
Shane, Rowan, Elias and Daniel Bryan Vs Roman and the Usos in a 4v3 handicap match! If Miz interferes, the steel cage match is off (per Shane’s orders) #MITB #SDLive pic.twitter.com/T3o74HY2IZ

- Shane and everyone takes the win with the coast to coast in a match that only really picked up towards the end. Viewers say Bryan looked a bit sluggish, but hopefully that’s just a bit of fatigue.
- Miz comes out after the match and attacks Shane, obviously. I wonder if the ban is still in place.
- Up next is Kairi Sane and Asuka vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The IIconics will be providing commentary…
- So Kairi Sane and Asuka are now known as the Kabuki Warriors. Kabuki is a classical Japanese dance-drama apparently.
- Asuka rolls up Mandy Rose very quickly, the Kabuki Warriors remain unbeaten!
- Oh look it’s the recently $100,000 fined Lars Sullivan on screen for a promo…
- Kevin Owens promo backstage is quickly interrupted by the New Day (yes it is!). Time for the Kevin Owens show?
- Apparently not. Kofi is just standing in the ring but Owens is staying backstage…what’s going on here?
- Owens finally comes out and he and Kofi fight on the ramp. But here’s Sami Zayn and Xavier Woods to help their friends!
- Kofi finishes the segment standing tall and it looks like SmackDown ends there…has it run a bit short or are they just making room for ad breaks later?
Thanks for joining us, we’ll be delivering our usual dose of live coverage later this evening!
