What WWE is advertising for tonight:
- The New Day celebrate Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship win at WrestleMania
- The Usos and The Hardy Boyz square off for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
- How will The Miz bounce back after crushing loss to Shane McMahon?
- Will the target on Becky Lynch’s back get even bigger?
- How IIconic will SmackDown LIVE be?
Hopefully it’s going to be a lot better than Raw…
New Day win...obviously
I’d love to tell you what happened in that match, but 80% of the match was an ad break.
Kofi pinned Sheamus with a trouble in paradise.
Hopefully next week will be more interesting.
Probably should have seen that coming, Becky
Becky Lynch came out and cut exactly the same promo as last night, and then exactly the same thing happened after the match.
Lacey Evans punched her in the face, furthering this blossoming feud.
Not the most inspiring of feuds, but I guess it’s something for Becky to do for the next few weeks while they build someone else.
And the new...
The Hardy Boyz are the brand new SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions, after defeating the Usos.
Jeff hit a swanton bomb to pick up the win, making the Hardyz grand slam tag champions once again.
But that wasn’t all, because Lars Sullivan suddenly appeared to take out both men with his flailing limbs and horrible beard.
They’re giving him a monster push alright, but for me it’s still way to early to have brought him up, he’s very green.
IT'S NO JOKE.

Shane McMahon is a bully
Shane McMahon is still a nasty person.
After mocking the Miz, Miz’s dad and Brooklyn, Shane turned his attention to Greg Hamilton, WWE’s angel voiced ring announcer.
Shane bullied Hamilton, forcing him to say “The best in the world, Shane McMahon” over and over again, threatening him with violence if he didn’t get it right.
Eventually Shane was satisfied and he let Greg go…mean.
Next up is the Usos vs The Hardyz for the SmackDown tag titles.
Paige is back...sort of
The IIconics, who are amazing, beat two jobbers, but that’s not important.
Paige here was backstage and told an interviewer I don’t recognise that she’ll be bringing a new tag team to SmackDown Live next week.
I’m thinking the Sky Pirates, as Kairi Sane and Io Shirai are both Japanese and will therefore be a team Vince won’t trust on the mic.
Having Paige as a manager will let them do the talking in the ring.
Joe Joe Joe Joe
R-Truth and Carmella have really lost their relevance and I would like to thank Samoa Joe for interrupting their dance break nonsense by choking out Truth.
What I was not expecting was Braun Strowman to appear and for him to fight Joe, apparently setting up a new feud between the two men.
Presumably one of them is moving over to the other brand on next week’s Superstar Shake-up, which I can get behind.
Braun is stale on Raw and could do with some new match ups.
Ricochet and Aleister Black must be exhausted
They have wrestled NXT TakeOver, WrestleMania, Raw and now SmackDown Live.
Thankfully they didn’t have to do much and won their six man tag alongside Ali against Nakamura, Rusev and Andrade pretty easily.
The interest came after the match as Ali, who had just pinned Andrade, was hit with an RKO outta nowhere for whatever reason. Presumably setting up a feud.
Kevin Owens then suddenly appeared and hit Rusev with a stunner, so I guess that’s not a heel turn as it’s Rusev.
Don’t really know what happened but maybe I’m missing something…
You deserve it!
Stop being sour and whatnot, because it’s time for the live pancakes and WWE Championship celebration after Kofi Kingston won the title from Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania.
Big E entertained the crowd by doing the splits, but then got to business on Kofi and happiness.
Xavier Woods then talked about butt stuff.
Oh and here comes the Bar, oh goody. They introduce Drew McIntyre (League of Nations 2) and challenge the New Day to a 6 man tag match later in the night. Bye bye brand split.
Should be fun.
It's a New Day, yes it is!
Kofi Kingston and his New Day buddies will be celebrating the huge WrestleMania WWE Championship win, and I’m sure there will be a lot of pancakes and thrusting.
A normal Tuesday night, then.
