SmackDown Match Changed After ‘Backstage Brawl’

A previously announced SmackDown tag team match was changed after commentary said there was a ‘backstage brawl’.

Before the announced tag team match featuring Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler taking on Tegan Nox and Natalya, Michael Cole on commentary noted that the match had been changed.

In a somewhat odd way to shoot a backstage brawl, there was footage of a camera person running up to a scene of Natalya and Ronda already down and Baszler and Nox still coming to blows.

After Ronda Rousey commanded Shayna Baszler get retribution, noting “an arm for an arm,” in the clip, that was exactly what happened!

Shayna Baszler made relatively short work of Tegan Nox after the match was changed into a singles affair between the duo.

Elsewhere on tonight’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns came face to face for the first time and during their interaction he made a glowing reference to a past achievement with the Young Bucks and they have since responded.
