Coming off the heels of the SummerSlam 2024 event, a new report has revealed that NXT coach Matt Bloom is set for WWE SmackDown.
The August 9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will see the return of former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Also, the show will feature the fallout of the SummerSlam event and should set the stage for the upcoming Bash In Berlin PLE on Saturday, August 31.
According to PWInsider Elite (via Rajah), NXT lead coach Matt Bloom is expected to be in attendance at the August 9 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Bloom started working as a coach at the WWE Performance Center since 2014. He previously worked as a wrestler under the names of Prince Albert, A-Train, Giant Bernard and Lord Tensai.
This is notable coming off the heels of the SummerSlam 2024 event and following the announcement of the NXT brand returning to the road for the first two weeks of the show moving to The CW.
As previously reported, the October 1 edition of WWE NXT will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, while the October 8 episode will emanate from St. Louis, Missouri.
