WWE SmackDown Overnight Viewership Up For October 22

The overnight viewership figures for the October 22 edition of SmackDown, featuring an updated roster following the WWE Draft, have been revealed.

As per SpoilerTV, Friday’s episode drew an average of 2.101 million viewers. This would be significantly up from the 866,000 viewers who tuned into FS1 for SmackDown on October 15.

In the key 18-49 demographic, this week’s show earned a 0.50 rating, up from last week’s 0.24 rating, and slightly down from the previous week’s (October 8) 0.52 score.

Here is the viewership hourly breakdown:

Hour 1 – 2.152 million viewers

Hour 2 – 2.050 million viewers

During the show, Brock Lesnar went on a ringside rampage, after his loss to Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. WWE Official Adam Pearce announced that Lesnar has been ‘indefinitely suspended‘, following his actions. Xavier Woods also received his official coronation, after winning the 2021 King of the Ring tournament.

The show also featured the exchange of the Raw Women’s Championship and SmackDown Women’s Title, between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Following the segment, the two stars reportedly had a heated altercation backstage.
