WWE SmackDown Kicks Off With A Car Accident & Parking Lot Attack

Kicking off WWE SmackDown was a strange and mysterious scene outside of the arena featuring Karrion Kross.

In case you needed any additional evidence that Triple H was in charge of WWE creative, please take note: parking lots have gotten much less dangerous of late!

WWE SmackDown kicked off with an attack on Karrion Kross in the most dangerous place in WWE: the arena parking lot!

After Drew McIntyre attacked Karrion Kross before SmackDown could even get started in New Orleans, Louisiana after the pair were in a fender bender to kick off the episode.

In the clip below posted by WWE on social media showed the fascinating scene and just how many men it took to pull McIntyre away from cross!

Karrion Kross was scheduled to compete against Sheamus, Ricochet and Solo Sikoa to determine the number one contender to GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship.

While Michael Cole on commentary noted that he was still scheduled to compete, the backstage happenings seemed to set the stage for a swap if necessary… card subject to change!

We will have to wait and see who ultimately ends up competing for the right to take massive chops from GUTHER for the gold!

Elsewhere planned for tonight’s October 14 episode, the return of Bray Wyatt to SmackDown after over two years away from the blue brand.
