WWE Edits Out Promo Mistake On SmackDown

WWE Edits Out Promo Mistake On SmackDown WWE

WWE edited out a mistake made during a promo on Friday Night SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain (March 14).

During the opening segment of SmackDown in front of a raucous crowd inside Barcelona’s Olimpic Arena, WWE United States Champion LA Knight saw his promo time cut short by several members of the Bloodline family.

First was Jimmy Uso, who staked his claim for an opportunity at Knight’s title, with view for a path to WrestleMania 41, however, ‘Big Jim’ would then be interrupted shortly thereafter by his younger brother Solo Sikoa, who had Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga in tow.

Sikoa’s time on the microphone would see a slight hiccup however, as he tripped over his words and almost swore, something Jimmy clearly found quite amusing in the ring.

While international fans who tuned in to the SmackDown live got to witness Sikoa’s mistake, WWE’s own upload of the promo on social media several hours later would completely edit it out.

For reference the unedited version of Sikoa’s promo can be seen in the first clip down below, while the edited version is found underneath.

After the microphone mishap, Sikoa, Fatu and Tonga took on Knight, Jimmy Uso and Braun Strowman in a six-man tag team match, with Strowman eventually picking up the win for his team.

Strowman’s celebration would be short-lived however, as Fatu destroyed him after the bell, delivering several top rope moonsaults and a hip attack through the ringside barricade.
