Since arriving on the WWE main roster in May 2022, LA Knight has proven that he has the potential to become a top star of the company.
Evidence for this? Just listen to his consistently loud crowd reactions over the past few months, particularly during the Andre The Giant battle royal on the March 31 episode of Smackdown.
But now even that may have been beat by the crowd at this week’s Puerto Rico edition of SmackDown (May 5).
Despite only competing in the dark match against Butch, the San Juan crowd would pop massive for Knight’s eventual victory, with the moment being captured via a fan video at the event.
Knight has been rumored to be receiving a push that matches his emerging popularity at the Money in the Bank event from London, England on July 1.
According to WRKD Wrestling, Knight is a “leading candidate” to win the mens briefcase.
While he has faced off with several stars on TV since, Knight’s most recent high-profile program saw him lose to Bray Wyatt in their Pitch Black match at Royal Rumble.
A new NXT call-up would recently name Knight as a potential feud for the future, click here to find out more.
