Find out the real reason for changes that were made to plans for tonight’s WWE SmackDown (July 21).
According to a report from PWInsider, there is a known reason why things may have been shifted before SmackDown and no, it isn’t Vince McMahon.
It seems that word is making the rounds that several talent were unable to participate in the show due to medical reasons.
One version notes that the shift is due to talent testing positive for COVID or being in direct contact with someone else who has tested positive.
While there was reportedly set to be an in-ring segment with Adam Pearce and Asuka to reveal the SummerSlam triple threat match between Asuka, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, instead the match was announced on social media.
Charlotte Flair took on IYO SKY in a match where she won however Asuka attacked her afterwards.
The original plan was for SKY to have a match with Zelina Vega, not with Flair.
