Sami Zayn Reunion With Roman Reigns & The Usos On WWE SmackDown Update

More is known about Sami Zayn reuniting with Roman Reigns and the Usos on WWE SmackDown after tonight’s opening segment.

In the opening segment of tonight’s WWE SmackDown (November 8), Sami Zayn came face to face in the ring with Roman Reigns, with both Usos also present.

Sami would appear and tell Roman that he didn’t kick him on purpose at WWE Crown Jewel, but also, he didn’t come out to help him – he was there to help Jey.

However, reminiscing about the old times, Zayn felt nostalgic for their days together as a group and suspected that Roman Reigns was as well.

Sami Zayn would tell Reigns that the opposite of love isn’t hate, it is indifference, and he doesn’t believe that Reigns is indifferent to him.

Instead, Zayn said “I think you love me”, seemingly in attempt to elicit a smile from Reigns, but Reigns remained largely composed despite Sami trying to get the crowd to see his smirk.

Sami would go on to tell Roman Reigns that in order to help, he needed to hear an apology from Reigns – not an apology to Sami, but an apology to Jey Uso.

Roman teased apologizing, but instead ‘apologized’ to Jey for “ever letting you waste my time with this”, going on to share a scathing response to Sami’s request.

Roman asserted that Sami wasn’t a member of their family, wasn’t honorary and was not an Uso, which led to Zayn leaving the ring. You can see more in the video below.

Reigns went on to call out Solo but was instead met by a video on screen from Jacob Fatu telling Reigns to get to the back of the line in his hopes to approach the Tribal Chief.

After their in-ring moment, there was a backstage interaction in which Roman Reigns told Jey Uso to get out of his face, but Uso reminded Reigns that he had told Roman he wouldn’t tolerate being talked down to this time around.

Jey Uso told Roman Reigns that this was his “one pass” before leaving. When Jimmy protested Roman’s behavior, Reigns snapped at Jimmy as well and was left alone by the end of the scene.
