There is set to be an impromptu match for a major WWE Championship on tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown. Find out more!
According to a report from Fightful Select, tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown (January 6) will feature an unannounced title bout.
Per the internal rundown for the show, Sonya Deville will interrupt a promo by Charlotte Flair which will lead to a match between the two for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
While it seems unlikely that Flair, who had just returned to best Rousey for the aforementioned title, would drop it so quickly but it is WWE after all.
And if you can count on one thing in WWE, it is that you should expect the unexpected!
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, the Usos are set to put their WWE Undisputed Tag Team championships on the line as they take on Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.
Also, in what should be an exciting matchup, Kofi Kingston will reportedly take on Santos Escobar.
