Before joining WWE after competing in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic, Smackdown Superstar Ali wrestled on the independent scene.
Along with Jersey All Pro Wrestling and National Wrestling Alliance, of the promotions that the former Policeman made his name at was Dreamwave Wrestling.
Despite being signed to WWE, Ali made a surprise appearance at a Dreamwave Wrestling show this weekend.
The former 205 Live wrestler shared the clip of his surprise appearance on Twitter.

It is not believed that Ali got physical during his Dreamwave appearance, but it was still a pretty cool surprise for the fans in attendance.
On Friday night, Ali teamed with Shorty G and Roman Reigns to take on Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro and King Corbin. He will be representing Team Hogan at Crown Jewel later this week.
