A WWE SmackDown star was unable to compete at a house show last night, and it seems like his absence may have been because of an injury.
The show in Cincinnati, Ohio saw Big E and Kofi Kingston defend the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a three-way against Lucha House Party, and what was meant to be the Revival.
However, Scott Dawson instead teamed with the B-Team’s Curtis Axel instead of usual partner Dash Wilder.
As per Wrestling Inc, Dawson announced before the match that Wilder couldn’t make it due to his jingle bells being hurt.
Wilder himself said he would be returning “soon”. He was at ringside during the match but didn’t get physical.
There’s no official word as of yet on what injury Wilder is suffering from, if indeed any, and when he’s due to be back, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for updates.
