Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 2.309 million viewers. This is down from the July 7 edition that drew 2.561 million viewers.
Last Friday’s show featured the successful Roman Reigns Tribal Court segment from Madison Square Garden. This week’s show did not feature Reigns and was the lowest total viewership for the show since June 9.
In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show scored 0.62 rating. This is also down from the week prior that scored a monster 0.76 rating.
The July 14 episode featured Jey Uso being confronted and blamed for what happened to Jimmy Uso by Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, which led to Jey superkicking Heyman.
Also, Bianca Belair defeated Asuka via disqualification thanks to interference from Charlotte Flair, Bayley and IYO SKY. Due to this, Asuka retained the WWE Women’s Championship.
