WWE SmackDown Draws Lowest Viewership Of 2023 Against NCAA Elite 8 Basketball WWE

The viewership figure and demo rating for Friday’s (March 24) edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX has been revealed.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 2.219 million viewers. This is slightly down from the March 17 edition that drew 2.258 million viewers.

This is the lowest total viewership of the year so far against stiff competition in NCAA “Elite 8” college basketball games.

In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show scored 0.58 rating. This is also down from the week prior that scored 0.59 rating.

WWE ranked #7 on broadcast primetime and cable in the demo for the night.

The show featured Cody Rhodes defeating Ludvig Kaiser in the opener and Paul Heyman challenging Rhodes to face Solo Sikoa this Monday on WWE Raw. Also, Rey Mysterio finally punched his son Dominik and accepted his WrestleMania 39 challenge.
