Last night on SmackDown, we saw a fantastic Intercontinental Championship match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. Seriously, if you haven’t seen the match I urge you to go and check it out.
The bout was won by AJ Styles, and was easily the best thing about a go-home show that was otherwise pretty underwhelming and boring.
Also on the show was a tag team match pitting SmackDown Tag Team Champions New Day against Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro, and a laughable segment between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus.
The show, which is the final episode of WWE TV before Backlash brought in an average of 2.016 million viewers, which is up from 1.935 million last week.
