WWE SmackDown Viewership Up For Elimination Chamber Go Home Show

The February 12 episode of SmackDown was way down from the previous week in viewership, however, that number seems to have bounced back. The viewership is in for the Elimination Chamber go-home show, with viewership trending upwards.

Showbuzz Daily is reporting that the most recent edition of SmackDown drew an average of 2.217 million viewers. This is up significantly from the previous week’s average of 1.883 million viewers.

As stated above, this was the final WWE show before the Elimination Chamber pay per view. The only things announced for the show ahead of time were Bayley’s “Ding Dong, Hello!” segment, an Edge confrontation with Roman Reigns, and a six-man tag team match involving the competitors from the pay per view.

We ended up seeing Edge get Speared by Roman Reigns, setting up their WrestleMania 37 match. This match has since been made official after the events of Elimination Chamber.
