An update has emerged on the WWE statuses of Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon following their match on Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
On the May 19 show, Feroz and Leon faced off against NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
Not only was this Fyre and Dawn’s first match since getting called up to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft, it was Leon’s first bout in 9 months.
Following the bout, some have speculated that Leon and Feroz could receive imminent main roster call-ups, as WWE has been known to feature NXT stars on Raw and SmackDown tapings in the past as a sort-of main roster tryout.
This is not the case per Fightful Select (subscription required), which reports that the duo were not called up, and are still slated to work at the WWE Performance Center.
The report noted that this bout was produced by Kenny Dykstra.
Leon has now taken to social media to react to her return match, which you can read more about right here.
