WWE Has ‘Something More’ Planned For Celebrity Ahead Of SummerSlam 2025

WWE reportedly has “something more” planned for a celebrity guest beyond their advertised appearance on the July 11 episode of SmackDown.

As announced by WWE on the June 23 episode of WWE Raw, multi-time Grammy Award nominee Jelly Roll will be appearing live in his hometown of Nashville, TN for SmackDown on July 11.

While WWE have not announced any further details in regards to what Jelly Roll will be doing on the show, a new report from WrestleVotes has revealed that his appearance may not be a one-off.

Posting to Twitter, WrestleVotes stated that WWE expect Jelly Roll’s appearance to be the start of “something more”, with the 40-year-old also said to be available the weekend of SummerSlam 2025:

According to sources, several within WWE expect Jelly Roll’s upcoming appearance on SmackDown (7/11) to be the start of something more. There’s anticipation the music superstar will make additional appearances in the near future.

Worth noting: while currently touring, Jelly Roll is off the first weekend of August.

While Jelly Roll was seen in attendance at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, he has also gotten physical inside the ring as well, Chokeslamming Austin Theory at SummerSlam 2024.
