The son of a former WWE star made an appearance on television at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but you may have missed it!
Another multigenerational star made an appearance on WWE TV, albeit in the background of a scene.
According to Fightful Select, the son of a familiar WWE face from the past made an appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend.
Jesse Funaki, the son of veteran WWE star Funaki, was an extra during the melee that occurred to end the Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu match.
As noted by Fightful, he trained to be a wrestler at the Hybrid School of Wrestling.
His father, Funaki, made a couple of appearances on NXT TV recently as a translator for Giulia.
In the only non-title match of the night at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Braun Strowman faced off against Jacob Fatu.
While Strowman technically won the match via disqualification, Jacob Fatu would dominate in a post-match beatdown that included multiple moonsaults.
Strowman was left bloody in the ring, surrounded by referees and medical personnel.
