WWE Stars Have Been Speculating About Potential Returns Under Triple H Regime WWE

Drew McIntyre has commented on how WWE has changed backstage with Triple H taking over creative.

Following Vince McMahon’s departure, Triple H became the Chief Content Officer of WWE. The Game now oversees all aspects of creative across WWE’s current brands.

Speaking with My San Antonio, Drew McIntyre noted that because everyone is so busy, he hasn’t noticed many changes backstage.

Revealing that there has been a lot of locker-room about potential returns, McIntyre said:

“Backstage hasn’t changed too much that I can see. We are just all so busy. We already have a winning formula. We have five stadium shows a year now and are making record profits. We are doing unbelievable business all across the world.

“But there is a buzz with the product, and you can see that reflected in the ratings. And for us the biggest thing for us backstage is thinking ‘Oh my goodness are our friends going to show back up? Who is going to show up next?’

“But I also enjoy how much attention is on the product right now because it allows us to show how talented everyone is and how hard we’ve been working. Wrestling is cool again and across the board it is the healthiest it has been.”

The wrestling world has recently been speculating about WWE’s ‘White Rabbit’ teases, with fans and wrestlers alike theorising that the hints are leading to the return of Bray Wyatt.

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which will feature a variety of stipulation matches. At the event, Drew McIntyre will battle Karrion Kross in a strap match.
