A WWE star abandoned a match in the middle of it without any clear reason during a television taping tonight (September 17).

Early during tonight’s show, a match was set up between Tony D’Angelo and TNA star Hammerstone off the back of what went down last week.

Last week, D’Angelo paid Hammerstone to ‘deal with’ Oba Femi, but Femi actually ended up beating Hammerstone in their match.

That led to D’Angelo being unimpressed and challenging Hammerstone to a match against himself tonight.

However, during the course of the match, Tony D’Angelo essentially abandoned proceedings.

‘The Don’ simply walked away as the North American Champion Oba Femi watched on TV backstage and laughed at the countout.

A confused Hammerstone officially picked up the victory over D’Angelo via countout after having lost to Femi in his previous appearance last week.
