A WWE star has reflected on ‘accidentally’ becoming part of the ‘best tag team in the world’ following a recent show.
At last night’s NXT Heatwave premium live event, the duo of Axiom and Nathan Frazer retained their NXT Tag Team Championship against Chase U’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.
Axiom and Frazer came together as a duo several months ago following a best of three series between the two, with the two now going on to become one of the top tag teams in WWE.
Taking to Twitter, Frazer reacted to their victory, noting that he and Axiom both said that they never wanted to be in a team, but are now one of the ‘best teams in the whole world’.
He wrote:
It’s funny, way before we ever teamed up me and @Axiom_WWE would joke about how neither of us ever wanted to be part of a tag team.
But somehow, someway… we’ve stumbled upon being one of the best tag teams in the whole world. And we’re loving every single second of it.
