A current WWE star has released a new diss track on their upcoming opponent, referencing their time in a tag team in AEW.
WWE NXT is set to move to the CW Network beginning with tomorrow night’s (October 1) episode of the show, taking place in Chicago, Illinois.
The main event of the show is set to see NXT Champion Ethan Page defending the championship against Trick Williams, with CM Punk serving as the match’s special guest referee.
Trick has recently dabbled in diss tracks ahead of big matches, recently releasing a track on rival Pete Dunne.
Now, Trick has released another diss track, this time aimed at Ethan Page, and Trick didn’t hold back in his new song.
Trick made mention of Ethan’s time in AEW, referencing his time in the Men of the Year tag team alongside Scorpio Sky, saying:
“I’m the man of the year, no Scorpio Sky”
Men of the Year wasn’t the only old team of Page’s mentioned in the song, with Trick also making reference to ‘The North’, Page’s team in TNA with Josh Alexander.
“Imma take it from ya, send ya back to the North.”
Trick is not the only wrestler to release a diss song towards Page, with Joe Hendry recently releasing the video for his song ‘Put On Some Clothes’, performed on WWE NXT ahead of No Mercy.
