A WWE star has been announced for a match in another company during WrestleMania 41 week.
With three weeks until WWE takes over Las Vegas, NV for WrestleMania 41 weekend, yet another star from the company has been announced to be competing at a notable independent event in the same city.
As announced by Josh Barnett on Twitter, WWE NXT star Charlie Dempsey will be competing at GCW Bloodsport XIII on Thursday, April 17.
Commenting on what will be Dempsey’s fourth appearance at a Bloodsport event, Barnett wrote:
A modern wrestler who seems like a someone who has stepped out of the past with his Catch-as-Catch-can skills and approach.
Lighting suplexes, limb wrenching submissions, and the ability to scramble in and out of position like the best of them – Is it any wonder that he’s making his 4th return to Bloodsport? Not in the least.

Dempsey joins Karrion Kross, Karmen Petrovic, Pete Dunne and Natalya as WWE stars announced for Bloodsport XIII already.
The former NXT Heritage Cup Champion has a 2-1 record at Bloodsport, having won his last match at GCW’s last event in November, where he defeated Tracy Williams.
We will provide further updates if more WWE names join that list before the event on April 17.
