A WWE star has apologised to their recent opponent following their match on television which had a tainted finish.
On this week’s SmackDown show, Andrade took part in his first match since being drafted to the blue brand in the 2024 WWE Draft, where he defeated fellow draftee Apollo Crews.
Before the show, Andrade was confronted by Angel of Legado Del Fantasma, who had offered a spot in the group to Andrade, before coming out to ringside for Andrade’s match with Apollo.
Angel would end up distracting Apollo during the match, which ultimately led to Andrade picking up the win.
After the match, the rest of Legado Del Fantasma came out on the ramp, offering Andrade a spot in the group, before Andrade blew them off.
Taking to Twitter today, Andrade apologised to Apollo for the finish, saying he didn’t realise that Angel distracted him during the match.
He said:
Sorry @WWEApollo I didn’t realize that @AngelGarzaWwe distracted you!!
Now I understand
Apollo is set to go one on one with Angel on next week’s episode of SmackDown.
