Another WWE Star Set For Appearance In Another Promotion? WWE

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller may be set for an appearance at Colosseum for PWA Australia in October.

2024 has seen various WWE stars appear in other promotions with the company now more open to work with others in the business. AJ Styles faced Naomichi Marufuji in Pro Wrestling NOAH, while IYO SKY worked a match against Utami Hayashishita in Marigold.

Shayna Baszler, The Creed Brothers and Charlie Dempsey have all appeared for GCW, and WWE NXT has started having a talent exchange relationship with TNA Wrestling, with Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry regularly appearing on the brand.

On September 10, the PWA Australia Twitter/X account posted a video with Jimmy Townsend revealed he will be using his “Key to the Card” to challenge WWE star Grayson Waller. The post reads:

The Thief makes his Key to the Card intentions clear. @prefectjimmy

Grayson Waller later posted a video to his Twitter/X account where he turned down the challenge and had a laugh at his former young boy challenging him. He said:

“What a morning it’s been for me huh? (laughs) First thing I see when I check my phone this morning, he’s one of my best mates, my young boy Jimmy Townsend. He’s called me out for Colosseum.”

“Can you imagine it? Grayson Waller back home, back in Sydney, back in PWA, for one night only on the show he made famous, Colosseum? Imagine it? Well, you gonna have to lad because it’s not happening.”
