There was an update on an evolving character shift as a WWE star continues to try and change the way he is perceived backstage.
Meeting up with Charlie Dempsey and the No Quarter Catch Crew backstage at WWE NXT, Lexis King wondered why others were still questioning his sincerity.
Despite winning his match last week without a hint of hijinks and even being friendly, King told Dempsey that people were still doubting him.
Dempsey noted that changing perception takes time but Lexis King would go on to compliment the NXT Heritage Cup Champion for making his own name in WWE despite having a famous father in the form of William Regal
The scene would go on to yield the result of Charlie Dempsey agreeing to face Lexis King in an NXT Heritage Cup match, although it seemed the latter forgot one detail.
As they departed the scene, the No Quarter Catch Crew reminded Lexis King that he needed a cornerman to support the multi-round match, seemingly surprising him.
Lexis King will seemingly have to flex his new babyface muscles making the rounds backstage in order to try and make some fast friends to help him out with his future Heritage Cup Championship match.
