WWE Star Believes There Should Be More Women On WrestleMania Card

WWE SmackDown star Carmella has voiced her opinion that there should be more women on the card for the upcoming WrestleMania 37 event.

As it stands, there is Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair which is expected to main event night one, Asuka vs Rhea Ripley on night two, and a Women’s Tag Team Championship match which has yet to be announced.

Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Carmella said:

“As of right now there’s only two women’s matches announced. I want there to be another women’s matches. I think there should be more women on the show. The women are where it’s at. We are taking over.

“As happy as I am for Asuka and Rhea and Bianca and Sasha; I’m very excited for Sasha and Bianca. But I just, I feel there should be more women involved. We’ve worked very hard. And we didn’t come just to only come this far. Even if it’s not myself. I’d love to be involved in WrestleMania. But either way, I want to see more women on this show.”

Carmella returned to WWE in December after being absent since April 2020, was put straight into a SmackDown Women’s Title program with Sasha Banks, but after losing several title matches, hasn’t had a match since the Royal Rumble at the end of January.
